Dog vs. Skunk Remedy Dee Hawkins Many a Virginia dog has had a run-in with a skunk! If this has ever happened to your dog, you know how difficult it can be to get rid of this horrific smell. Try this remedy... 1 quart 3% hydrogen peroxide 3/4 cup baking soda 1 teaspoon liquid soap (Dawn original blue is rumored to works best) Combine above ingedients and bathe your pet, let stand a few minutes, rinse with tap water.
